Time is priceless
Once you spent, can’t buy it back
Set priorities right!

Time flew like the wind,
taking part of you with it,
Like sand in the wind.
From Today I am challenging myself to post a haiku daily. Hope this turns out to be fun. You can also join in if you like the journey.
Covid time has forced us to remember one very important thing in life. Everything is uncertain. We don’t have enough time as we think we have, there is no later. Let’s stop the meaningless race and try to think if we have left anything incomplete.
Did you forget to tell anyone how much you have loved them? Did we forget to solve any silly fight? Did we forget to revive any dying relationship? Did we forget to forgive someone? Did we forget to say sorry to anyone? Did we forget to feel gratitude for what we have? Did we forget to love ourselves? Did we forget to be happy? Did we forget to live our life till now? Before it’s too late. Try to sort out the things when you have time.

Are you happy in this lockdown, doing something you have postponed for a long time? Like writing, reading, drawing, learning, cleaning the house or sorting out your life, building a healthy relationship with yourself and others. Are you bored and always keeps looking on the news for the update or calendar for magically the days to fly by? Are you getting irritated blaming people and government? If you are in the second category, now it’s time for you to think about yourself. Either you are scared of not doing the routine stuff and you are accustomed to doing new things. This extra time just scares you in the fear of feeling bored and sitting idle. If this scares you think of the time after your retirement. So better learn to practise from now. Empty your mind of any such feelings and think, if you have to rebuild your life what would like to do? Like attaining a new skill, growing a new hobby or simply doing self-grooming with love. Nurture a small plant or talk to your family, try to find what they are interested to do in their time. Distract yourself, do something valuable in this quarantine. Don’t let yourself regret again in future, thinking what if you have used that time in a better way.
This picture rightly shows my current situation precisely. I keep on planning and looking at the calendar with unbelievable look to find days passing by. What is your current situation now ?
